Lytta — Terms of Use
Last updated: 7 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Lytta™ app and service ("Lytta"), provided by Sepman AS (Norway). By using Lytta you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What Lytta is — and is not
Lytta is a skills-practice app: an AI partner opens an everyday scenario, you reply in your own words, and the app grades your reply and suggests a stronger version. It is a practice tool for communication skills.
Lytta is not therapy, counselling, medical advice, or crisis support, and it does not replace a qualified professional. If you are in distress or in danger, contact local emergency services or a helpline such as findahelpline.com. The partner in a session is generated by an AI model and is not a real person; feedback can be wrong or incomplete, and you remain responsible for how you act in real conversations.
Accounts
- You may use Lytta anonymously with a device-bound identity, or register with an email address. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Lytta.
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings in the app, or via this page.
Acceptable use
Do not use Lytta to harass or harm others, to generate or store unlawful content, to probe or overload the service, to circumvent usage limits or payment, or to extract the service's prompts or models. We may limit or suspend access that violates these terms or that threatens the service's integrity or cost to operate.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you write. You grant Sepman AS the limited licence needed to run the service for you: to store your practice content, send it to our AI provider for the sole purpose of generating your session and feedback, and show it back to you. Your content is not used to train AI models and is not sold. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Lytta Plus (subscriptions)
- Free tier. Lytta is free to use with a daily limit on practice sessions.
- Lytta Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) that raises the daily limit and unlocks additional features such as custom scenarios. Current prices are shown in the app and are set per country by the store.
- Billing. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) through your store account, not by Sepman AS directly. Payment is charged when you confirm the purchase. A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
- Renewal and cancellation. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel anytime in your store's subscription settings (App Store: Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions; Google Play: Play → Payments & subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period already paid.
- Refunds are handled by the store under its own policies.
- Changes. We may change prices or what Plus includes for future periods; the store notifies you of price changes and may require your consent as its rules provide.
Availability and changes to the service
Lytta is provided as is, and we work to keep it available and improving, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue Lytta Plus entirely, active subscriptions will not renew.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Sepman AS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of Lytta, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Lytta Plus in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law, including Norwegian and EU consumer protection rules.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Consumers in the EU/EEA may also rely on the mandatory consumer protections of their country of residence and may bring disputes before their local courts or use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
